Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 cup cooked and diced turkey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Directions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is softened and translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the cooked rice, cooked turkey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  4. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the rice is heated through, about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the green onions and cook for 1 more minute.
  6. Serve hot.
