Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
In a medium bowl, combine raisins, pecans, and dried fruit. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together butter, shortening, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Gradually stir in flour alternately with orange juice, mixing until just blended. Stir in raisin mixture and vanilla.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Cool cake in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely. Frost with White Frosting.
