Ingredients

  • 1 cup (120g) of oatmeal
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of brewers yeast
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of flaxseed
  • 1/2 cup (60 ml) of honey
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) of dried fruit (optional)
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) of nuts (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the oatmeal, olive oil, brewers yeast, and flaxseed.
  3. Add the honey and mix until combined.
  4. Stir in the dried fruit and nuts, if desired.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto a greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely before serving.
