Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 450°F. Grease a baking sheet with butter.
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in the milk until the dough forms a ball.
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead lightly for 1 minute.
Roll the dough out to 1/2 inch thickness and cut into circles using a biscuit cutter.
Place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
