Ingredients
- 1 cup steel-cut oats
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
- In a medium pot, combine oats, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ginger and salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 8 minutes, stirring often.
- Stir in honey, raisins, cranberries and walnuts and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve hot with a dollop of yogurt or milk.
