Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add the green beans, salt, and pepper and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
