Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend

- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Directions
- Heat the olive oil in the Instant Pot on the sauté setting.
- Add the ground beef and onion and cook until the beef is browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and lock the lid and set the Instant Pot to the “Soup” setting for 30 minutes.
- Once the cooking time is up, quick release the pressure and open the Instant Pot.
- Stir in the parmesan cheese and parsley and serve over your favorite pasta.
