Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the ground turkey and cook for 5 minutes, stirring to break up the meat.
  3. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in the tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, toast the buns in a toaster or under the broiler.
  6. Divide the turkey mixture among the buns. Serve immediately.
