Ingredients
Pan juices from your favorite roast
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Pour the pan juices from your roast into the Instant Pot.
Add the flour, water, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard to the pot and stir until combined.
Secure the lid on the Instant Pot and set the valve to sealing.
Cook on Manual High Pressure for 5 minutes.
Allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release the remaining pressure.
Carefully remove the lid and stir the gravy. If it is too thick, add a bit more water and stir to combine.
Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper if desired.
Serve over your favorite roast.
Interesting Facts
This gravy can be made ahead of time and reheated on the stove or in the microwave before serving.
You can use beef, chicken, or turkey stock in place of the water for a richer flavor.
This gravy can also be made in the slow cooker on low for 4-6 hours.
