Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, white sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla. Beat in the eggs.
- In a separate bowl, stir together the flour, salt, and baking powder. Add to the egg mixture, and mix until just blended.
- Stir in the chopped pecans and chocolate chips.
- Pour into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the top is set and the crust is golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
