Ingredients
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 large onion, diced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 pound of ground beef
1 can of diced tomatoes, with liquid
1 can of red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 tablespoon of chili powder
1 teaspoon of ground cumin
1 teaspoon of paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the ground beef and cook, stirring occasionally, until the beef is cooked through, about 10 minutes.
Add the diced tomatoes, red kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, and paprika. Stir to combine and season with salt and pepper.
Bring the chili to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve the chili hot, with your favorite toppings.
