Ingredients
- 3 pounds chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 cup water
Directions
- Place the chicken thighs in the Instant Pot.
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic, black pepper, sugar, and bay leaf. Pour the mixture into the Instant Pot over the chicken.
- Add the water to the Instant Pot.
- Secure the lid and set the valve to “Sealing” position.
- Press the “Manual” or “Pressure Cook” button and set the timer to 25 minutes.
- When the timer is done, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes and then do a quick release.
- Open the lid and transfer the chicken to a serving dish.
- Serve the chicken with the sauce from the Instant Pot and enjoy!
