2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Directions
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the cumin, coriander, turmeric, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and salt and stir to combine. Add the chicken and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
Add the apples and chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Stir in the yogurt and cilantro and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Serve over cooked rice, if desired.
