Ingredients
- 2 pounds of chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Place chicken breasts in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic, white wine, chicken broth, parsley, basil, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper. Pour mixture over chicken breasts.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.

- This recipe is an excellent way to use up leftover white wine.
- The herbs used in this recipe are classic Italian herbs, but you can substitute any herbs you have on hand.
- For a spicier version of this dish, add 1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes to the ingredients.
