Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, cream together the melted butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, salt, baking powder and flour.
- Stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
- Sprinkle the marshmallows on top of the batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
