Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, mirin, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar.
  2. Pour the marinade into a re-sealable plastic bag or container.
  3. Add your desired protein to the marinade and seal the bag or container.
  4. Let the marinade sit for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
  5. Remove the protein from the marinade and cook as desired.
