Ingredients
- 8 cups water
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1 inch fresh ginger, sliced
- 10 whole cloves
- 10 cardamom pods, lightly crushed

- 2 teaspoons fennel seeds
- 6 black tea bags
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil.
- Add cinnamon sticks, ginger, cloves, cardamom pods, peppercorns, and fennel seeds to the pot.
- Simmer for 20 minutes, allowing the spices to infuse into the water.
