Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh figs, chopped
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the figs, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and let the jam cool before serving.
