Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, bell pepper, carrot, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully combined.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until fully combined.
  4. Form the ground beef mixture into a loaf shape and place in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread the ketchup mixture evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the meatloaf reaches 165 degrees F.
  6. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
