Ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 1 wheel of Brie cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons of freshly chopped herbs (parsley, thyme or rosemary)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet to a 12-inch square.
- Place the Brie cheese in the center of the puff pastry sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the egg, herbs, olive oil, salt and pepper.
- Brush the egg mixture over the top of the Brie.
- Fold the edges of the pastry sheet over the Brie, pressing them together to seal.
- Brush the pastry with the remaining egg mixture.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the puff pastry is golden brown.
- Serve warm with crackers.
