Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 jalapeños, diced
  • 4 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, and jalapeños and cook until the onion is soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the tomatoes and cook until they are soft, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in the cilantro and cook for 1 minute.
  7. Remove from the heat and let cool.
  8. Serve with your favorite dishes.
