Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup finely chopped hazelnuts
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a cookie sheet.
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla and mix until well blended. Stir in hazelnuts.
- Divide dough in half and shape into two 10-inch long logs. Place on prepared cookie sheet and flatten slightly. Bake for about 25 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Remove from oven and cool on cookie sheet for 10 minutes. Cut logs into 1/2-inch slices. Place slices back onto cookie sheet and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and cool on wire racks.
