Ingredients

  • 2 lb. pork tenderloin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, pepper, oregano, thyme and cayenne pepper. Mix together with a spoon to create the seasoning blend.
  2. Rub the pork tenderloin with the seasoning blend.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork tenderloin and sear on all sides until golden brown, about 4 minutes per side.
  4. Transfer the pork tenderloin to a slow cooker.
  5. Add the chicken broth, orange juice, lime juice and minced garlic to the slow cooker.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the pork is cooked through and tender.
  7. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
