Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup ham, diced
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, onion, garlic, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Mix together until well blended.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the ham and cheese. Spread the mixture over the top of the beef mixture. Roll the beef mixture into a log shape and place in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Brush the melted butter over the top of the meatloaf. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
