Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup diced salted egg haam daan ju yoke beng
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 4 tablespoons water
Directions
- In a bowl, mix together the ground pork, eggs, onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the pork mixture and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through.
- Add the diced salted egg haam daan ju yoke beng and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and water until it forms a paste. Add the paste to the pork mixture and stir to combine.
- Continue to cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the mixture has thickened and is heated through.
- Serve the ground pork cake with a side of steamed rice and your favorite vegetables. Enjoy!
