Ingredients
2 pounds of grapes with skin and seeds
2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon of butter
Directions
Wash and stem the grapes and place them in a large pot. Mash the grapes with a potato masher.
Add the sugar and lemon juice to the pot and stir until combined.
Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to remove the skins and seeds.
Return the mixture to the pot and add the butter. Stir until the butter is melted.
Pour the jelly into sterilized jars and seal tightly. Place the jars in the refrigerator until ready to use.
