Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the graham cracker crumbs, flour, baking powder and salt.
- In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, vanilla extract and egg until well combined.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts (if using).
- Drop the cookie dough by the tablespoon onto a greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
