Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the graham cracker crumbs, flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, vanilla extract and egg until well combined.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts (if using).
  6. Drop the cookie dough by the tablespoon onto a greased baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
