Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of fresh clams
  • 2 cups of gluten-free flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of parsley
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Clean the clams by removing any dirt or debris.
  2. Combine the gluten-free flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, oregano, parsley, black pepper, and salt in a shallow bowl.
  3. Beat the eggs in a separate shallow bowl.
  4. Coat each clam in the egg mixture and then the gluten-free flour mixture.
  5. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Add the coated clams to the skillet and fry for 4-5 minutes, until crispy and golden brown.
  7. Remove the clams from the skillet and place on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
