Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cups chopped pecans

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the butter and cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the garlic, Cheddar cheese, parsley, oregano, basil, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball and roll it in the chopped pecans. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Serve chilled with crackers or vegetables.
