Ingredients
2 1/2 cups corn flakes
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, combine corn flakes, butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Beat the eggs and add to the mixture.
In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to the corn flake mixture and mix well.
Stir in the nuts and chocolate chips, if desired.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Cool cookies on a wire rack.
