Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups corn flakes
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a medium bowl, combine corn flakes, butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Beat the eggs and add to the mixture.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to the corn flake mixture and mix well.
- Stir in the nuts and chocolate chips, if desired.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Cool cookies on a wire rack.
