Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

  1. In a large pot, combine the chicken broth, garlic, onion, celery, potatoes, red bell pepper, Old Bay seasoning, Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sausage and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the shrimp is cooked through.
  4. Stir in the parsley and serve.
