Ingredients

  • 2 cups of ice cream
  • 1/2 cup cornflakes
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Scoop the ice cream into 4 balls and place them on a baking tray.
  2. Put the tray in the freezer for at least 1 hour.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cornflakes, flour and egg.
  4. Dip each ice cream ball into the mixture, making sure it is evenly coated.
  5. In a deep fryer, heat the oil to 350°F.
  6. Carefully place the ice cream balls into the fryer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Remove the ice cream balls from the fryer and transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.
  8. Serve the fried ice cream with a drizzle of honey or your favorite topping.
