Ingredients

  • 1 lb lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh tarragon, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, parsley, chives, tarragon, bread crumbs, mustard, Old Bay seasoning, pepper, cayenne pepper, and eggs.
  2. Mix the ingredients together until completely combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter.
  4. Heat the butter and oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the crab cakes to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
