Ingredients

  • 6 slices of white bread
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar

Directions

  1. Cut the crusts off of the bread slices and flatten each slice with a rolling pin.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract and cinnamon.
  3. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
  4. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Place the bread slices into the skillet and cook for about 2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  6. Sprinkle each slice with the sugar and roll up.
  7. Serve warm.
