Ingredients
2 cups of diced fresh persimmon
2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg

Directions
Place the diced persimmon in a medium saucepan and add the sugar, lemon juice, nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice. Stir to combine.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and let cool completely.
Transfer the cooled jam to an airtight container and place in the freezer. The jam will keep for up to 3 months.
