Ingredients

  • 1 head of cabbage
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large pieces of aluminum foil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Remove the core of the cabbage and discard.
  3. Cut the cabbage into 8 wedges. Place each wedge in the center of a piece of aluminum foil.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the onion, garlic, olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Divide the mixture evenly and spoon it over the top of each cabbage wedge.
  6. Fold the aluminum foil over the cabbage wedges and seal the edges tightly.
  7. Place the foil-wrapped cabbage on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the cabbage from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
