Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken drumsticks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup Korean gochujang sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, eggs, panko bread crumbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Dip chicken drumsticks in the flour mixture, making sure to coat each one evenly. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add chicken drumsticks and fry for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together gochujang sauce, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Pour over fried chicken drumsticks and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
