Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked brown rice

Directions
- In a medium-sized pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, smoked paprika, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Stir the spices around for a few seconds until fragrant.
- Add the brown rice and stir to coat the rice with the spices.
- Add the frozen corn and stir again.
- Pour in the two cups of water and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the pot from the heat and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
