Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed and washed
- 4 strips bacon, diced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the diced bacon and cook until crispy, about 5 minutes.
- Add the onion and cook for another 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the green beans and cook until they are bright green and tender, about 5 minutes.
- Add the vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
