Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup baking cocoa
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup chopped hazelnuts
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla and egg.
Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.
Stir in hazelnuts and chocolate chips.
Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes or until set. Cool for 2 minutes before removing to wire racks.
