Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup baking cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup chopped hazelnuts
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla and egg.
- Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.
- Stir in hazelnuts and chocolate chips.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes or until set. Cool for 2 minutes before removing to wire racks.
