In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until it is browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is softened. Add the diced tomatoes, oregano, basil, thyme, salt and pepper to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes.
Stir in the cooked sausage and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the bowties in a large pot of boiling, salted water for 10 minutes, or until al dente.
Drain the bowties and add them to the skillet with the sausage and vegetables. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve hot.
