Ingredients
- 4 pork loin chops (boneless)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray (olive oil or vegetable oil)
- Tonkatsu sauce (for serving)
- Cooked rice or salad (for serving)
Directions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the pork loin chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place the flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs in separate shallow dishes.
- Coat each pork chop with flour, dip it into the beaten eggs, and then coat it with panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Place the coated pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Spray the tops of the pork chops with cooking spray.
- Air fry the pork chops at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the pork chops from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the air fried pork tonkatsu with tonkatsu sauce, cooked rice or salad.
