- 1 cup cake flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 12 large egg whites
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup honey

- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- In a medium bowl, sift together the cake flour and 3/4 cup of granulated sugar. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt until foamy.
- Gradually add the remaining granulated sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while continuing to beat the mixture until stiff peaks form.
