Ingredients
- 4 large apples, cored and thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds or pecans)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture over the sliced apples.
- In another bowl, combine the oats, chopped nuts, brown sugar, and melted butter to make the streusel topping.
- Using a knife, make small cuts in each apple slice (hasselback style) without cutting all the way through.
