Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine 1 1/4 cups flour and salt. Cut in 1/2 cup butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in water, a tablespoon at a time, until mixture forms a ball. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Roll out dough to fit a 9 inch pie plate. Place crust in pie plate. Press the dough evenly into the bottom and sides of the pie plate.
  4. In a large bowl, mix together 4 cups blueberries, 3/4 cup sugar, 1/3 cup flour, and cinnamon. Spoon mixture into pastry-lined pie plate. Dot with 1 tablespoon butter. Cover with top crust, seal edges, and cut slits in top crust.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown. Cool on wire rack.
