This Flank Steak Marinade recipe is perfect for a juicy and tender steak. Made with a flavorful blend of ingredients, this marinade will take your steak to the next level. The combination of soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and herbs infuses the meat with amazing flavors. Marinate the steak for at least 4 hours or overnight for maximum taste. Whether you grill, bake, or broil the flank steak, it will turn out mouthwatering and melt-in-your-mouth delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds flank steak
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, dried oregano, dried thyme, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Place the flank steak in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Press out any excess air and seal the bag. Massage the marinade into the steak to ensure it is evenly coated. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. When ready to cook, remove the flank steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  4. Preheat your grill, broiler, or oven to medium-high heat.
  5. Grill or broil the steak for 4-6 minutes per side, or for your desired level of doneness. For medium-rare, the internal temperature should be around 130°F (55°C).
  6. Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it against the grain into thin strips.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy the delicious and tender flank steak!
