  • 4 medium-sized potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapenos
  • 1/4 cup diced red onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup guacamole
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying


  1. Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin slices, about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or pot over medium-high heat.
  3. Fry the potato slices in batches until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Arrange the fried potato slices on a baking sheet in a single layer.
