  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound bacon, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 2 cans (15 ounces each) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 ounces) pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, optional
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and bacon over medium heat until browned. Remove from the skillet and drain any excess fat.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until translucent and fragrant.
  4. Add the cooked ground beef and bacon back to the skillet.
  5. Add the drained and rinsed kidney beans, black beans, pinto beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
