Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 3/4 cup milk

Directions

  1. In a large pot, add the chicken pieces, chopped onion, sliced carrots, celery, minced garlic, bay leaves, dried thyme, dried rosemary, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 1 hour or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  3. Remove the chicken from the pot and shred the meat. Discard the bones and return the shredded chicken back to the pot.
