This creamy and cheesy asparagus casserole II is the perfect side dish for any meal. Made with fresh asparagus, creamy sauce, and topped with breadcrumbs and cheese, this dish is a crowd-pleaser that will have everyone coming back for seconds.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Steam asparagus until slightly tender, about 3-4 minutes. Drain and transfer to the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix together cream of mushroom soup, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder. Pour over asparagus in the baking dish.
